2010 Stigma Stampede
.
During the summer months, the Mental Health Association will be holding a fun and entertaining fundraiser where our goal will be to “Stomp Stigma” and raise awareness. Our agency will host “herd stampedes” around Fulton and Montgomery Counties.
A replica of a herd of horses will stampede onto the yards of community members for a 24 hour period. For a small donation to the Mental Health Association, this stampede can be moved to the yard of a friend. If individuals would like to purchase “Stampede Insurance”, this can also be done for $10. This guarantees a herd will not stampede your yard.
By providing donations to our Stigma Stampede, you will be supporting our goal to stomp the stigma related to mental health as well as support our ongoing fund-raising project to provide necessary funds to purchase playground equipment for our Daycare and Child Advocacy Center.
